Summer Fun

Summer is made for relaxing in the sun, on the pond, in a raft ,with a cold one...LOL!!! I love it. I work on the weekends so during the week I spend my time helping Darrell fix the house, not that's it's broken, just home improvement. We finally got the basement done so our friend could move in. Aeriond, moved in on Friday. It's nice to have him here. Today the only thing I did was go to my best friends house Carla and relax on her pond with a cold one!!! It was wonderful, I even brought Duke! Duke had a blast....he swam for 3 hours. Ok, Ok he came home and slept, he is still sleeping!!!LOL

I sure hope we do that again soon, it was very relaxing!!! Thanks Carla, Mike and Emily!!! Love you guys;-)

P.S. Thank you SO much for the Chinese also!!!!

Love your memories, they last forever

Not everything can last forever, but there is one thing that does...the memories! Always enjoy everything and never take anything for granted, you never know! I have learned to take lots of pictures and never regret anything that you do! I have one thing to learn yet and that is to forgive and forget. I am sorry but I cannot bring myself to forgive or forget. I don't know why this is but I hang onto things forever. This is something I need to learn yet. If there is one thing in life that I want to do is learn how people do this??!! I cannot.

Everything happens for a reason....I guess

One of my really good friends lost her horse yesterday. She barrel raced with her. Yesterday she had to put her down because of an illness that the vets are still stumped about. Deb(my friend) got Diala(the horse) off the race track a few years ago. Diala was a REALLY fast horse. Deb always had to tie herself into the saddle at first. Diala was a really good girl, she and I had an understanding. If I had treats I would put them in her feed bin as she didn't like many people, she would bite. Diala let me pet her every time but only a pat on her forehead then she was done. Deb and Diala were an awesome team, they won a lot of races together. Diala was Deb's right hand girl! She knew what to do and always did it with LOTS of speed! I know Diala is going to be missed horribly by Deb, and everyone for that matter. Diala we love you and will never forget you!!!:)
Now you are home, and you can run with the wild horses!!

Where I am from...

This is where I have lived my whole life, Wisconsin. I have been to many places, but nothing can compare to where I have always been! I was born and raised on a farm here in WI. My whole family lives here and we are very close. I live in one of those towns where everyone knows everyone. I like it, sometimes! Once in a while it kinda gets on your nerves because someone will say,"hey I saw you doing this yesterday."
My Dad and Mom raised us on a farm with animals. I cannot imagine my life without animals always being a part of my life. They are always there for you. When times got tough when I was little, like when I got mad. I just strolled down to the horse pasture and got on Heather, one of our horses, and talked to her. She ALWAYS listened. I would tell her all of my problems and then I felt better. Heather is now 35 years young. She is getting up there, and I am just dreading the day we will have to let her go. My sister and I would always just go and hop on Heather, we always knew we were safe with her! My Mom has had her since college.
I don't know if I could ever move...yeah Jacob, don't know! I really don't think I could bring myself to leave my family.

Sara's Wedding

On June 14th I stood up in my friends wedding. This day was very wet after our flood! It went well:)

So sad...

This caught my eye right away. I have seen SO many dogs suffering because of people. It is very sad. I just wish people would treat animals better all around. They deserve everything!

Wolfie

This is a dog(wolf) that Lisa and I rescued from a shelter about 2 years ago now. The shelter got her from a guy who tied her out for the first 7 years of her life, how sad! Her collar was grown into her neck, it was sad!:( Lisa and I named her Wolfie, as she is a wolf. The first picture on the left was when we first got her. Wolfie was REALLY sick. She had a lot of health issues, we worked through them now she is a beautiful wolf! She is a house dog in Texas. Wolfie LOVES the house life. She weighs in at about 85 pounds now, I know she looks HUGE. She loves to sit on my lap, she thinks she is a lap dog sometimes. This is one of the many dogs Lisa and I have taken in. I am glad Wolfie has a great home now!

Take a chance on life..

I have learned in my 25 years on this earth that if you really want something, you need to take a chance and go for it. It is not going to come to you, you need to get up and go for it!

Live each day as if it were your last.

Time with my sister...Priceless cont.

Well I got home today and wanted to go back to Stevens Point. It was a lot of fun. This weekend I learned just how crazy kids can be, yeah I was one of them! On Thursday we headed for Red Granite, this is a rock quarry that has been out of commission for a LONG time. The water there is SO clean you can see in shallow parts. We swam there and jumped off these huge rocks for about 6 hours. Don't worry the water is 200 feet+ deep! OMG that was so much fun. I got a little burnt, yes I put on sunscreen. Other than that we went out and had a good time. Wednesday night we must of had too good of a time I meet Joe, the tree, I talked to him my sister says. Crazy:) I don't do that much, trust me!!! Those days are long gone. It' just nice to have a good time with my sister once in a great moon! I miss you Melissa and hope you come home soon!!! Otherwise I will have Melissa with drawls.:)

Time with my Sister....priceless

Yesterday I drove up to Stevens Point to visit my sister, Melissa. I will be here until Friday. We are having a great time so far, I know it will get better!!! Melissa wanted a dog for company up at college, so I found her one. Her name is Molly and she is a wonderful Beagle. My sis loves her SO much, and so do I. If I did not have 3 dogs I would be out looking for a beagle. They are so cute, yes they can be loud but hell they are cute.

Missing friends...

I have lived in WI my whole life. I never traveled enough where I would make friends in new states. About 3 years ago I traveled to TX for some dog training, and I met Lisa. She is my best friend. I miss her SO much, words can't even express how much I miss her.

Then about 1 year ago, I met Suzi and Alex. Again they are wonderful people, I cannot imagine my life without them. I sure wish they were all closer that I could see them everyday, but distance causes a problem. Alex is the best kid I have ever met. She is SO much fun to hang out with and play the wii with!! Suzi has gave me many words of wisdom.

Then there is Lisa, I cannot explain how much of an impact she has had on my life! She has sure changed my life for the better. I thank her for that! Lisa, Suzi and Alex will always be a part of my life, forever and always! I Love you guys!!!!

Jesse J. Jakel 1985- 2005

Jesse J. Jakel passed away 3 years ago today. It has been a rough road for all. We all miss you horrible and wish you were here with us. I know you are watching over us and making sure all is ok, well today is not so we need your support more then ever. Jesse was like a brother to me, he was always at our house. Jesse dated my sister for 3 years. He was always making us laugh and taking us on these WILD rides, either on his 4 wheeler of the snowmobile. He had a love for motors! If it didn't have a motor he was not interested in it.

Jesse was hit by a lady who was legally blind, but driving. She turned in front of him while he was on his motorcycle. He flew through her windshield and broke his neck. I keep his name alive by doing 2 fundraisers a year so that we can provide a scholarship.

These are the tattoo's I have on my right ankle. Jesse loved flames so I decided to get a band of them. His headstone is also the shape of a flame, very cool!

We love you and miss you and we know you are in our hearts. It is just hard not having you here with us.

Horses, Horses and more Horses!

Here they are all of the horses!! The top left is our 35 year old mare, Heather. Below that is our 18 year old quarter horse, Nikki. Bullet again, then on the right of him is Basil. Bullet and Basil are only 4 years old so they are still in training. I do ride Bullet a lot, just with no reins, I know it's dumb. Heather was my cow horse, I had to retire her last year. She really started to show her age. I sure hope we have many more years with her. Both my sister and I learned to ride on her.

My babies...well not so much anymore

These are two of my biggest babies!! I love them dearly. The Scottish Highlander is Lacey. I have had her since she was 2 months old. Lacey is tame and LOVES to be brushed. This is one of our family's many cows, by the way we had a new baby
today!!!! I don't know what it is yet, I will fill you in when I know!!!:)
The horse is Bullet. I rescued him
from a farm that did not take care of him at all when he was little. He was about 3 months when I got him, skin and bones. It was sad. Bullet is doing very well now with the other 3 horses my family and I have and is very happy. I have too many pictures, but will post more later of the other 3 horses.

High School Pictures

These are some of the many senior pictures I had taken. I really miss high school, these days are a lot different. I would be scared to go back now days, these kids are uncontrollable!

High School has lots of good and bad memories, mostly good! I was not the perfect child in high school. We will leave it at that...LOL! I sure do miss my friends. I keep in touch with some but not too many. Everyone goes their own ways. If I could do something different about high school, I would hang out with friends a lot more. It's not like I didn't but just more.

Time of my life...

This is me at 2 years old. I was kinda cute.

Then my sister Melissa came along. I was really happy for that until she bugged the living crap out of me! But like I said before now we are best friends and will always be!

These are our wonderful dogs we had growing up. Stanley (the collie) and Butch(the black mix), these two dogs were just a awesome team. They also let Melissa and I do whatever we wanted to them. Stanley would go down the snow hill with Melissa and I in the sled, then pull it back up the hill for another round! I miss them horrible:(

Missing my Sis:(

Today was rough. My sister left again the other day for college in Stevens Point. We used to fight like crazy and I could never get away, now I cannot get enough time with her. She is my best friend and will always be there for me no matter what. I just cannot believe how fast we grow up sometimes, it seems like just yesterday we were little running around calling each other names. I am SO glad I have her in my life, I don't know what I would do without her. If you are reading this and have brothers and sisters, cherish every moment cause you never know what tomorrow brings!!
I dedicate this song, My Wish by Rascal Flatts to Melissa!
I Love You!!!!
